Sam Herszberg brings substantial added value as a partner and lead investor to the Amplify EyeCare team.
The Herszberg family co-founded a groundbreaking biotech startup with Professor David Morris, a world-renowned oncologist with over 900 peer-reviewed citations and 4 anti-cancer drugs. MucPharm has recently achieved ‘orphan status’ from the FDA for the treatment of a rare form of cancer.
Sam’s main business is in real estate and he has over 30 years of experience in the industry. In 1995 he assisted with the establishment of a Wilson Pride Real Estate office in inner suburban Melbourne which has now been sold to US-based Century 21.
Sam Herszberg is the co-founder of the largest property management group in Australia Run Property, employing over 300 staff and managing over 15,000 properties. This business was listed on the ASX, and was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Real Estate Corp Ltd. In addition, he founded Agent + PL – part of ‘Real Estate Corp Limited’ which provided Software as a Service (SaaS) and back-office solutions to prominent agents all over Australia. These companies were sold to the Little Group (Paul Little) and now trade as Little Real Estate.
The Herszberg Group also owns substantial retail properties in Australia as well as an extensive residential portfolio. The Herszberg Group also owns and manages a residential portfolio in the USA and has a diverse range of other business interests.
Among others, Sam also functioned as Director of NuPower Limited, which changed its name to Central Australian Phosphate Limited, and was acquired by Rum Jungle Limited.
