Sonny has over 15 years of experience working withing the accounting and finance fields.
Serving as a Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controller for non-profit and for-profit
entities, his varied responsibilities have included financial management, business leadership,
corporate strategy, as well as human resources and daily operations management.
Sonny’s industry experience includes the banking, brokerage, utilities, non-profit, and healthcare
sectors. Assuming the senior accounting level role, he has worked as a Chief Financial Officer
for entities such the El Paso Sleep Center, Physicians Hospital, and Nazareth Hall Nursing
Center. His extensive work within the healthcare industry has allowed him to specialize in the
accounting, auditing, budgeting, and strategic management of finances as it relates to hospitals
and private care facilities.
Sonny holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at El
Paso, and a Masters in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration from the University
of Phoenix.
